Serve & Project has conducted an intergenerational artist workshop at Manchester Craftsmen's Guild (MCG) in June 2009. The artists and MCG are proud to see Serve & Project come together thanks to support from SLB radio, Lynn Walsh and the Brighton Heights Senior Community Center, and especially in part from funding generously by the Grable Foundation through the Charm Bracelet Project Fund.
Serve & Project is an initiative started by artists Lisa Link and Io Palmer. Both are experienced community art educators who met while working at the Manchester Craftsmen's Guild in Pittsburgh, PA where Io was instructor in the ceramics department and Lisa taught in the digital imaging lab.
