The memories linked to Brussels waffles are always festive : holidays spent on the belgian coast where tearooms serve them with milkshakes after a nice day on the beach. When you prepare them at home, it’s always so nice to see the eyes of the children glittering of happiness, the wonderful smell that pleases the nose when it’s dark and cold outside on a Sunday afternoon in autumn. Waffels are popular in Belgium and the Netherlands, there are many different recipes. You can find waffles also in France and Germany.
